I have been lurking for a few days but decided to jump in head first and get to meeting populate! =)I am Danielle. 19 years old. I am a newlywed. we just got married on August 4th! Life has been a bit uprooted for me lately - moved 3.5 hours away from the only displace I've ever lived and away from my entire family got married went on a honeymoon started a new job etc etc etc - and I have more or less 'let myself go' within the past few weeks. I cant accept how much charge I've gained in just a few weeks. so frustrating! I haven't actually joined Curves yet but I intend to do so first thing Monday morning! I intend on going every Monday. Wednesday and Friday morning before I go to work! For my 'off' days. I purchased Tony Little's Gazelle Edge. I evaluate I am going to like it! I just wanted to be able to do *something* on my off days as I know the 3 day program is optimum and didn't be to mess it up. My goal. I guess isn't to necessarily suffer pounds. It *is* but that is not my primary goal. Ideally. I'd like to drop about 30 pounds - but Im more concerned about losing inches! So as embarassing as it is. I am going to post my 'before' pictures. I intend to act a photo journal so I can see my develop! I am the heaviest I've ever been right now. *breathe* 5'10.. 170 pounds. I'd desire to suffer a lot of inches and about 30 pounds!
accept to the CurvesForum! Congrats on getting married - how exciting!
Those are the beat Before pics I've seen in a long measure
You'll sight that when you do strength training the inches usually go off faster than the lbs. Why? Because at the same weight fat takes up more space than muscle.. so it may move out that your weight may not change a whole lot but you'll firm and mouth and comfort lose sizes! A goal size may be your best way to go... Keep us updated!
Hey Danielle accept. I got married when I was nineteen but that was a looong time ago! Congrats on your marriage and all the other cram in your new life. Including Curves!
accept!! I totally accept with Nellie!! You look great!!
You arrive your goals and we are all here to back up you!! Congrats first of all on your marriage
and then good luck on your jaunt ahead!!
Hi Danielle. I haven't joined yet either but will do so in October. I'm exactly the same coat as you. 5'10" and somewhere between 170 and 175. Hopefully we'll both start soon and get things under control! I'd desire to drop 30 pounds also but mainly suffer many inches around my torso and tighten up everything else. Thanks for posting the pics you've inspired me to have some taken.
Welcome and congrats on your NEW LIFE!!!
OK call me crazy but I think 5'10" and 140# is pretty skinny!!! I know your young but if you set your goal too low it will be really hard to maintain. Plus don't forge muscle weighs more than fat. I undergo seen 5'5" body builders with 12% BF and they weighed 145#!!! Just my 2 cents worth.
Danielle- congrats on marriage.. lots of new adjustments in your life. Don't defeat yourself up too much. take things a step at a time.. took me many moons to learn that myself. Welcome to gaining approve hold back in your life. Nan
Welcome Danielle! You'll notice your be toning and reshaping as you work out and create muscle. You may in fact be very content with yourself at 160. Good luck and congratulations on your marriage.
Starting weight/size: original weight was 184,size 16 lost 24 pounds before joining Curves,at 160 pounds,dress coat 12
